Brake Booster Vacuum Line

Hey guys,

I'm trying to identify the vacuum line which comes from the engine bay to the front trunk. Here is a pic of where the vacuum line originates in the engine bay:

Can you verify that this is the same line (front trunk) as pictured above?

Thanks guys.

Yep, it's the same line.

A rubber hose goes from the engine connection down to a metal tube on the bottom of the firewall which then runs through the inside of the car and comes up near the pedal cluster, another rubber hose connects from this point to another metal hose that runs through to the trunk.

Is this line feeding vacuum to anything other than the brake booster? The reason I ask is that I'm considering relocating the check valve from the engine bay to the front trunk so that I can run a boost gauge off of the brake booster. I just want to make sure that I wouldn't be compromising anything else by moving the check valve. Thanks!
