Chicago Cars and Coffee, Sunday 8-10AM
UPDATE: CARS AND COFFEE - Sunday Sept 21st.
Time for another one gang. This Sunday 8-10 AM...bring your friends and their cars or motorcycles. ChicagoPorsche Cars & Coffee this Sunday, 8-10 AM. Location: The Starbucks coffee shop on Diehl Rd, one block west of the intersection of Diehl Rd and Winfield Rd in Warrenville. From the east or west take the Winfield Rd Exit off of I-88 and go south a block, take a right at Diehl and go to the first light and take a left into the strip mall. Take right at the first stop sign and you'll see the Starbucks on your right...or the cars. You can also exit at Route 59 approx. 1 mile west of Winfield Rd. to avoid paying the toll at the Winfield Rd exit. Go south on Rt. 59 and take a left at Diehl (a block from the off ramp) and back track. The Starbucks will be on your right. Last edited by MotoSook; 09-17-2008 at 10:45 AM.. |

No pictures guys. We were too busy shooting the breeze. I think we managed to convince Jamie to come out to Black Hawk on the 20th though. (Jamie, e-mail me, and I'll get you in touch with the local chair..or you can check out the Chicago-PCA website.)
Don't know when the next one will be. Maybe it'll be in the City. |

Matt, I should be able to make it...but we'll need to set a date. Maybe toward the end fo the month.
But! How about a track day?!! There was talk after the AMS Autobahn day about the "regulars" going to the Black Hawk DE this month (Friday the 20th)...or was that just beers and Hooters talk?  Jamie expressed interest in going to the Black Hawk DE when we spoke on Sunday. I'm sure the PCA will let you new guys run since you have track experience from other regions. You could sign up as one of our guess if you haven't joined the local chapter yet (there's an additional $40 fee for the local chapter). It would be a great way to meet the local yahoos. |

Anyone interested in a Cars and Coffee this Sunday 8-10 at this same Starbucks? Or maybe even at the McDonalds right next to it, they have coffee AND food.
I've made some changes to my '68 over the winter and would like to show some fellow Porsche nuts. |
