Sunshine BUT NO SUNROOF
Hey all
i have a problem with my sunroof. well today in Perth it was a great day sun was out & first thing i did when reversing out i tried opening my sunroof which i do nearly everytime i am in the car. BUT today it didnt want to open  the s/roof motor is working (sounds like it anyway) fine but from reading on here it could be a cable? my question is before i start to try and atemp this removel of the s/roof what should i look for? cheers

2 things to check:
Aside from the cables, check the clutch which is that small cocktail sausage like thing between the motor and the transmission. Also, when mine stopped working, I opened up the transmission and changed the small gear inside which had worn down. That fixed it until the motor went about 15 yr later.

I've a broken clip that's blocking my opening,...on the list of to-do's..
