Front Bumper Covering Strip installation?
Howdy all.
Does anyone know how to install the Front Bumper Covering Strip,This is the rubber strip that runs the width of the car right in front of the hood. Sometimes referred to as the bumper 'smile.' Part number 911-505-187-01-M260 anyone have any pics or threads of this procedure? Do i need to remove the front fenders to do this? Thanks in advance 79 911SC 03 CLK500 AMG 08 F350SC 72 914-6 RIP |

The fenders can stay in place, but you'll have to remove the bumper. The smile is attached by screws coming up from underneath. You can see it in the PET parts diagram here:
