Headlight Relay Kit in an EARLY car.

Just to give all those early car guys some piece of mind. I ordered the prebuilt relay kit our host sells for my 73. I put H4's with high wattage bulbs in and in high beam mode I had a wire under the dash that was getting hot.

The kit is made for 74 and up cars. But a relay is a realy right.....RIGHT!

So using a simple multimeter all you need to do is find the high and low beam wires in your fuse box. You can also take out the fuses one by one till the lights go out as well! From there it was back to the included instructions that came with the kit. Hook up the 12V and ground and your good to go.

No more hot wires, lights all work just fine, and I have peace of mind knowing my wiring is not going to burn up on me.

If you have upgraded your lights and not installed the kit or some relays of your own then I highly suggest you do.
