My 911 has passed this years MOT with no problems and next weekend im getting a 2cd hand Dansk rear stainless silencer for her,my question is should i replace the pre silencer or not will it make any difference to the sound as i would like her to sound a bit more or will the pre silencer not make that much difference

Mine Dansk is 1 in and 1 out so do you think just leave the pre silencer as it is standard

God no... lol
Go for the MK premuffler,it is a beautiful piece of work and combined with a Steve Wong chip and a good performance muffler,it will unleash the dormant HP in your factory restricted engine !!!

Same here.. I did a home made dual out (poked a hole on the other side and added a exhaust tip) which added a couple of notches in terms of sound over the stock set up (1 in 1 out). When I took the cat out afterwards and installed the MK premuffler, the noise increase was minimum.

My butt dyno says that the car is much more rev happy above 4000 rpm and runs cleanly to the red zone. Very happy with the current set up, especially the premuffler from Ben.

If you're going to install a performance muffler anyways,do yourself AND your 911 a favor
and get the MK premuffler and appropriate Steve Wong chip...
It is well worth the money,as it really took the cobwebs out of my 89 Coupe !!!
The car is Sooooo.... much more fun to drive and the sound is music to my ears
