Lost Fuchs wheel lock key

Didn't noticed this until safety inspection (failed). Can they be taken/broken off without damaging the Fuchs wheel? What is the c-clip part (2) that holds the brake line underneath? It just keeps the lines from moving too much. I also have a loose wheel bearing upfront right wheel. In three months it won't matter because I can register it as a "historic" vehicle and I won't have to deal with emissions and safety insps :) but its still three looong months.

If they are the kind that just spin around and need a key to remove you can get a punch slightly larger than the key slot and punch the lock out and remove with pliers. If they are the kind that are round and have the match part that fits the lug wrench you can get a 3/4" 12 point socket and hammer it over the lock and then use a breaker bar to take off. Or get one of those spiral sockets used to remove rounded off nuts.

If you just want a key and can drive the car, go to a locksmith and see if he can make you a key. Then put the locks in your toolbox and don't use them again! :D

I have seen them come off like butter with a hammer and chisel.
Be careful though. I would cover your wheels up very well with something first
before going at it. Good Luck.

If they are just a keyed lug, you can get a stripped nut remover. We were missing the key from a boxster we had and this worked perfectly.

Heres an example of the tool Im referring to.
