Oil cooler fitment INFO wanted for 74-75 RSR or IROC F Bumper

Would like to see how others have mounted their Front Oil Cooler when using a 74-75 RSR or IROC front bumper.
Plan to buy/fit a Setrab front cooler, but what works?

This oil cooler panel is what the factory used on the 74-76 RSR's. They cut out the front trunk floor and vertical panel to accomodate this.

We have tried two methods with install after cutting and trimming the metal. One is to weld into place, and the other panel adhesive. We have monitored the "glued" car for a few years now and no problems with cracking or separation

One question, when fitting the air guide/duct is there any interference with the larger M/B size battery?

yes- we don't need that kind of ballast up front
for a less expensive alternative and light unit, check garden tractor batteries from interstate, and others. Great small package, enough amps for the starter and engine electrics, inexpensive, and considerably less weight than the tank MBZ style
