Bill

Good shots that car is just sweet...

Rot 911 10-03-2008 10:37 AM

Nice looking. Too nice looking. Does that car ever see the road?

livi 10-03-2008 10:42 AM

Excellent! One of the few times I see a speedometer I am familiar with on this forum. Km/h instead of miles/h. Real cars have km/h. :D

RWebb 10-03-2008 10:44 AM

thanks for posting!

glad you had a camera with you

Too many heavy, luxury parts. Dash padding, heat exchanger sheet metal and hoses, carpet, etc. Thing probably weight a ton.

Kidding. Gorgeous car.

SandyI 10-03-2008 12:59 PM

That car is scary clean. Wow.

ChkbookMechanic 10-03-2008 01:47 PM

That is really clean. It looks like it hasn't seen any road in a long time.

Who spends the time and $$$ to clean the paint underneath a car?

Maybe someone with a $250k car? heck, people around here do it with a $10k car.

Bill,
Very sweet! Thanks for sharing.

210bhp 10-03-2008 02:41 PM

Looks better than new...gorgeous.

Just a point of note, chassis number 232 would never have had a 300kph speedo when new.

Regards
Mike

Pure sex. Now I have to clean the keyboard. Thanks.

bavaria911 10-04-2008 06:15 AM

Bill,
Thanks you for sharing these pictures. That is the cleanest RS posted on this BB.
One favor - the duck tail. Did you take closer pic's? I'm still not 100% sure where to look and what to look for that makes the OEM duck tail...material stamp/mark??
Dont know.
I have a duck tail on my RS look-a-like, not a clone. The duck tail has been on the car since 1984 (that is as far back that I can go on history of the RS look).
Mine has a metal frame and f-glass. Has the cut-outs for the small lights exactly to the pic above.
Is there a thread on duck tails here on the PP BB?
TIA,
Bavaria

There's some dirt on the driver side floor mat and dead pedal area, as well as dust on the top of the steering wheel. This thing is just filthy.

WOW. This is all I can say.
