OMG i started my car w/o the muffler......

REALLY didn't want to put it back on.

My little 2.4 sounded like a total monster. My GOD what a sound!

Do a search on this first, not everybody is satisfied of their product.
I believe they have fitting issues.

augustus i can't imagine any camera i have doing a good job recording that sound.

i wish it could!

honestly the car sounded like it should have a massive set of Hoosiers and great big clip on flares. literally like a race car. blipping the throttle was just craziness. absolute insanity! talk about a party in your eardrums!

Occasionally, I pull the muffler off my 3.2 and strap a straight pipe directly to my Fabspeed pre-muff (no fitment issues).... I love it! Sounds like a Hemi Cuda. I have to work hard leaving the neighborhood to keep the sound down to a dull roar. On the throttle though... frickin music.

Hell, even my 4cyl 912 sounds awesome without a muffler.... The neighbors don't think so though, it's an acquired taste ;-)

Everybody needs to do this at least once in their life. It's like the first time you get any serious nooky - giddy and grinning.

I do it twice a year, basically - spring & fall for a few weeks each.

The intent is to record some snippets of video during the next fun run. The roll bar's back on for the camera mount, and the dump tip's back on - Fabspeed pre-muffler & muffler bypass is the current setup.

You can get some feedback from Buckterrier here, he came up to visit & we went running together this past weekend. Mark?
