Now, This is an FUGLY 911, Very Sad
This is by far, the scariest 911 to ever follow me home, view at your own rist, as you have been WARNED!!!!
Sad thing is this started as a nice, pretty solid 72 (my favorite year for 911s) Now to figure out what to do with it??? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

did you buy it? if so, you are a public spirited citizen for rescuing it - esp. and early car, and very very esp. a '72
strip out the gauges, FG crap and other boy racer garbage and sell it to... other boy racers! put it on eBay with lots of racer boy hype and a fairly high starting bid - be sure to say they are "RARE" (no need to explain they are rare b/c few have such poor taste) - remember one man's crap is another's treasure & let them make the decision restore the rest of it - I don't see too much rust... |

I'd take it down to primer in a dozen random spots to see if you can trust that - if so, there is a lot less paint work to be done.

I hope it's not a 72S that some yahoo modded up w/ fiberglass rear quarter panels and braille gauges. Nifty passenger door jam!
Wheels might be worth more than the chassis. |

The wheels are a set of 8&10X15 that I had, traded off, got them back, and had as rollers, but I still prefer my Fuchs
![]() ![]() ![]() Still, one part of me says save it to a period correct car, but my time & space says other ![]()

So that's what going to hell and back looks like! I would say if you have the courage and huevos start restoring that beast. Of course that's if it's a real S.

I didn't know you lived by "Unique Whips". I can just picture Remi spray painting the dash.

Did some idiot drill that many holes to mount mirrors, or just take a shotgun to it?

Looks OK to me, lots of potential. I have definitely seen worse looking 911s on these pages!

Centerline wheels made here in Los Angeles- they sponsored imsa 914-6 in the 70's . Very strong and inexpensive alternative to the fuchs at the time
