				how make look new screw and metal parts
			 
			Hi i want to know were and what to buy to make the zinc coated looks to screwa and parts athat in fact new came that way and ofcourse with year loook rust!! i have seem how shops and engine rebuilders get that finish were screw looks yellow zinc looks is that new screw and new parts or in fact there is a type paint of product that give you that new look for exampla I found a part in eaby seller said it was redone and new zinc coad looks new what is these people using ! | ||

			no sir i was looking for new idle valve came acrss that and noted that they refinsh the brackes and looks new and I was wondering long time ago in my 911 c2 some of metal bracket arrounf fan looks rust and want to bring it to new look!

			Well to get the rust off the parts either soda blast or use some other gentle media.   I think eastwood has some coatings that approximate the zinc coating. If they dont try http://www.caswellplating.com they have a bunch of plating kits. Check out there forums, they'll be a ton of info about restoring parts like you describe. Good luck! Matt | ||

			Look in the telephone book under "metal plating."  It can be done at home, but really is best left to professionals due to the multiple toxic chemicals dips involved.
