Putting new (different color) seat belts in My 84' Carrera

I am thinking of replacing my belts in my 84' Carrera. I want to put red color belts in. Has anyone done this ? Was it a kit ? do you just replace the belts ? what ? How much approx ? Any suggestions for sources ? Can I do this myself or am I opening a huge can of worms ?

I have RS style doors on now, They have red pull straps. I think red belts would look cool.

Thanks in advance

To clarify. www.peparts.com is the website for the seat belts you are looking for. It was the answer to your questions as to where to get them

You asked for a source for seatbelts in different colors ("Any suggestions for sources ?").

He linked you to a source that sells . . . seatbelts in different colors.

And then you go off on him.

What do you call that?

Hmm, you've got 7 posts and surmise to know who mikez is and what his motivations might be.

Did you click on the link? You'll find different color seat belts - pretty helpful I think.

You might also consider that some of the members (eg mikez) have contributed a lot to the Pelican community here and I for one don't have a problem with a link in his signature. Accusing long standing members of spamming is not the way to make friends on this forum.

Just my 2 cents.

Ok, let's all just simmer down. Seriously This is funny. Are we all seeing the same site ? I just rechecked to make sure it was not me. It is a car graphics co. I did not see seat belts anywhere.

Click on the www.PEParts.com site he gave you. They sell colored seat belts.

It is impossible for you to click on that an get a car graphics company.

ok seriously I just took a third look. There are no seat belts there. Now, I thought it was just some dude who was posting spam. Something ANY board does not need. If he is a regular here then he probably made a mistake and posted the wrong link. I do apologise if I have insulted anyone. Look at it from my point of view, here I am trying to slam down someone I thought was a spammer and the next guy is calling me a moron.
I think it is all a misunderstanding, He is a regular I know this becuase you guys are all sticking up for him. He probably just posted the wrong link.

everyone stop, I see the problem, I was not seeing the link he gave. It was at the very top of the post above the line that is why I did not see it. The graphics co is part of his signature I guess. My full apologies an honest mistake.

Thank you for that source, any other suggestions ?

Well. here's two suggestions. Since all you are wanting to do is replace the webbing, how about calling the company to see if you could send them your old seat belts and have them replace the webbing. Or, you could buy a used set of receivers from an earlier car and buy one of their off-the-shelf belts for an earlier car.
