I heard a Carrera GT was expensive, but is this for real? Maybe I'm out of touch with the market, but $575,000.00 ??? |
|
It's not even a 2000--just a 1600. I owned two of them in the '60s, one of them a 1500 Speedster, the other a 1600 Coupe. I don't follow the market closely, but I can't imagine they're yet going for anything like this... |

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1224037818.jpg this one will be for sale if that red GT goes for that much. |

Nonetheless, for those who aren't aware of current values, here is a taste. http://www.carclassic.com/model.asp?Marque=Porsche&Model=911+&Lang=en And here are 3 RUF CTRs http://www.carclassic.com/model.asp?Marque=Porsche&Model=RUF+CTR&Lang=en |

And for $575,000.00 you'd expect a salesman that can spell Auckland. Chris |

People can ask whatever they want for a car.. doesn't mean they'll get it. :) |

Fat Cab, I want dibs! |

In the classic car link above there is a "1972" 2.4S for sale. Anyone notice anything wrong with that? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1224045121.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1224045135.jpg |

I have seen a 1971 911 with an oil door but never a 1972 without one. 1971 would be an early 1972 model year production run made in late 1971. 1972 maybe a 1973 model year made in late 1972? |

Brian, took me a few, but then it stuck out like a sore thumb. |
