Hello everyone,
About 2 years ago I was reading an article in Execellence magazine, saying Porsche was going to enter NASCAR using the Panamera. Since then I have not heard anything more about it, was it just a rumor? Thanks, jinkatin 86 Carrera |

A generic tube frame, pushrod V8 hulk with a Panamera body? Someone tell me this isn't so! Billy Bob gonna push that "Porsh" to the limits, ain't he? This is close enough, as it is...

I believe the Excellence article was a joke. Kind of like the 910 buyers guide article.

Porsche couldn't use the Panamera body anyway. They'd have to use the generic Car of Tomorrow body. Plus a single four-barrel carburetor on their V8 engine, and a live rear axle with six-foot-long trailing arms. I don't THINK so.

The Excellence article was an April Fool's joke.

When Ford and GM go under someone will have to step up to the plate and run against Toyota. Nascar can't go away or the South will die.
