Need pics of hood mount + fender mount Cibies
I'm prepping a hood for mounting Cibie's and would like to see what folks have done in terms of spacing in mounting them. Is a template available or measurements? Also how they look on the fenders? Do they interfere with the headlights?

Thanks Dave, I definitely like the lights set a little further back like on the R. looks like the forward mounting bolt is in line with the top 1/3 of the badge.

Thanks Mike, this is the variety of pics I am looking for in determining how set back and far apart they should go on the hood.
Please keep'em coming.

I mounted mine directly in plane with the headlight lens. I used a strip of masking tape between the headlights to mark their location.

We have installed many of this hood mounted lights... and we were always told to use a step drill bit. So we always used it.
It is probably so you do not ruin the hood, it allows you to drill a small hole then go into the next step hole slowly using one bit, without having to keep chaging the bits. An expert at this might be able to answer this question better... |
