Repair Help
My 83 CAB had slight damage in the rear and the bumper, valence, and hood had to be painted. The car was disassembled to do the painting. I noticed after driving it that the rear bumper was pretty hot. The PET shows a heat shield for the turbo between the muffler and bumper. I assume that the non-turbo does not have this shield. Does the attached picture look right for an 83 CAB.

I've got the same car with the same very hot bumper, always was, never heard of the heat shield.

By the way it's only on the right side of the bumper that get's hot !! The rest only get's warm. what's with that?
