Chuck Miller owns the '73 Gemini Blue 911 w/ the Ducktail in the foreground so he might be able to help you with the other blue 911.

Thanks guys. I will do a search on their posts. Both are beauties. Just wanted to see if I can get additional pics. My first porsche memories are of a gemini S for sale at a local dealer in the mid eighties. Thanks again.

Hi.....

I can confirm that it's Randy's car, but the color is Metallic Blue, not Gemini blue. Gemini has more grey in it when seen side by side with Metallic Blue.

Here's a shot of my 72S, which is also Metallic Blue and was painted by the same guy as Randy's car, and using the same formula. Car changes color depending upon the lighting.

Dane, you coming to the campout??

Eric

I'd say more purple...

IIRC, (the other) Randy We... no longer has that car and it has left the PNW.

Luckily the Principle of Porsche Color Conservation applies, so...

Duh......(accompanied by a head slap) on my part. Of course, Chuck's car is also Metalic Blue.

Nice looking ride Eric.

Just came across this thread.

I still own the metallic blue '72 S pictured in the first post.

Best early car I've ever driven. Probably will never sell it, and I still live in the PNW.

I sold a silver '72 911T to Mike Simon last year. Down to 2 early 911s at this time, and really happy with the combination. I'm putting a 3.6L into my white '72 as we speak, and looking to add a SWB 911 someday.
