Swapping Alternators
 

Hi everyone! i just replaced my old S.E.V Marchal alternator for a new Valeo unit. I'm not sure if I have the wiring right can someone please confirm. I also notice that there is no DF on the Valeo, so where do I plug the black DF wire to? :confused: Thanks a million! I searched and came up with nothing, I'm sorry if this came up before...

the blue and brown together on the D+/61 terminal won't fly. just the blue there. browns together on the negative/ground terminal, or attach the big brown from the engine case to one of the perimeter studs. the black is not used. just tuck it back out of the way. be sure to REMOVE the old regulator, not just unplug it.
