New member intro

Hi all,
Belated introduction, been working on the car for a bit and finally got around to taking a picture. This is my first 911, I've always loved them and finally took the plunge. I have been driving my e30 m3 with the POC for a little bit and have met many nice porsche folks at the track, hope to get the carrera out there as well. The community and knowledge base here is great!

Very nice Antonio!

Are those 7" & 9" Fuchs? They look real sharp. Your car looks lowered to just about the right height too.

Enjoy Antonio!!!

Thanks everyone! Mike, they are 7 and 9" fakes that I'll probably use as track wheels as soon as I get some real fuchs refinished. TRE did the suspension, I asked Dave for a streetable but "committed" set up and he nailed it perfectly, their attention to detail on the install is top notch.

Antonio, just an FYI, DO NOT use the fake fuchs on the track, there are many documented failures of replica fuchs wheels on the track. They simply are not strong enough for the forces you would apply on track. Get a set of real fuchs or some BBS or other wheels for the track and keep the replicas for the street.

The car looks great and welcome to Pelican!:D

Antonio:

I had TRE lower, align, and corner balance my 87 Carrera too after I freshened up the suspension and installed Bilstein Sports. They did a great job. Dave demonstrated his fender rolling skills to eradicate some tire rubbing after I moved my 7" Fuchs to the front and installed 9" Fuchs on the rear.

Genuine Fuchs are not cheap, but the quality and originality are definitely there.

Enjoy your awsome looking G50 Carrera Antonio--Heheeee!!!

Mike
