What size speakers go in the back of a G50 Carrera Targa?

From what I could find, it is supposedly 6x9, but I put a 6x9 up to the factory opening, and there's no way that's gonna fit. Way too big.

What fits the stock opening?

4 x 6

the upgrade to 5.25 separates is worth it.

Thanks!

I'm running the stock 10 watt per channel Reno, not a big car stereo guy, I just want something that will fit in the stock holes.

I've replace mine twice in the back of my 89. The 2nd set dry rotted from all the sunlight. Try Crutchfield. I ordered 4x6 plate speakers from Infinity that had multiple holes that fit the stock housing perfectly. The biggest issue is that these usually don't come with covers. The ones I ordered actually allow my factory covers to fit on with a friction fit. I would usually remove them for DE's and just leave them off anyway since they don't look bad.
