funky lights

this is a second post regarding this problem, just updated. first - my turn signals don't blink (hazards do blink though)only if headlights are turned on, otherwise they don't come on at all. second - when i step on the brakes my running lights turn on.

I think you have a bad ground. That may explain the hazards blinking by using the headlight ground and your brake lights feeding through the parking lights. My guess would be the rear of the car.

I had similar issues with my '76 912E. Check/bypass the ground wires in/near the headlight buckets. My car had bad grounds in this area and once cleaned up the problem went away.
