Show me your ..... speaker grills! Seriously---

OK, you don't have to actually show 'em. Here's the issue: I've had a speaker grill offered to me (for my '73) in a trade. Seller says he's selling it because it won't fit his '70 and it supposedly came from a '72. Thing is, the PET says the speaker grills have the same part number from '70 ---> '73. Measurement of his grill is 10" x 4 1/2". The measurement of a really cracked grill I have from a '70 is 9 1/2" by 4 1/2". My '73 dash top is totally in pieces around the speaker grill, so I can't tell what size grill it had. But some day I hope the find a decent dash top for the '73, which may not have a good speaker grill.

So....... If you've read this far and you have a '70 ---> a '73 with the dash top center speaker, can you measure the grill size and post it, along with the year model of your car? This might help solve a mystery, and perhaps enable this trade....

Grill from my trashed out '70:

The thing is, these grilles seem to have been individually fitted to the dash. When I had a dash restored for Evren, they insisted that the dash be shipped with it's orginal grille or no repair. Since I had the original grille, I didn't ask why...

Can I ask who restored the dash? Maybe I can send my old one to him. I seriously they are hand fit but I do thing they may have had 2 suppliers and they came in different. 1/2" is alot of difference. I wouldnt believe it if I didnt have one of each here.
