for those wanting black door pocket lids...

just an fyi......

i converted to rs door panels a while back, i scored a pair of black door handles at hershey a few years back and was thinking about sticking the stock panels back on, they were red so needed to be recovered.
today i stripped down the pocket cover and low and behold, it's textured black underneath the leather, plus the factory porsche upholstery guys were sure to NOT screw up the lid while wrapping it in leather

so if you strip the leather off your carrera pocket lids you'll be welcomed by a nice black textured lid once you rub all the glue from the leather off, providing the upholstery guy wasn't drunk the night before and had some misplaced staples
