911 door wire routing?

I need to add speakers to my 71 doors. I'm wondering where the factory routed the door wiring and if there are any seals, boots etc. I couldn't find anything in the workshop manuals or PET. A picture would be great but any help is greatly appreciated.

This is only a guess, but I don't believe the factory installed speakers in doors in early cars--only in the dash and possibly a back speaker option on the package shelf. If that's the case, you wouldn't find any illustrations in PET. There have been many door installations, however, and I suspect they were dealer or aftermarket shops which drilled holes and used rubber grommets in the door frame.

but I think they offered electric windows so there should be a plugged hole at the front of the door, inaccessible without removing the door. If it is not there just drill the hole and use grommets from a newer car.
