Tach black wire DME pin 31

1984 3.2 (sort of) coming out of the tach is a black wire that the service manual shows going to pin 31 of the DME. The pinouts I find for the DME don't have anything going to pin 31. I have basically stripped the car to gauges and basic lights only while installing an electromotive TEC3r. Have pretty much found everything else but the black wire.

my papers show that the tach on 84-85 3.2 dme tach output is

pin #21 black/violet and pin #11 black

Thanks; there must be a misprint in the service manual. Pin 11 to the upshift indicator would make sense. I am not sure my upshift indicator light still lights. I had the tach re-done to a sideways 8000 RPM configuration by Hollywood speedo. I was hopeing to use the upshift light for the check engine light on the electromotive unit.
