First Photo & Tranny Question for my Project
 

What started about four years ago with me welding in a new front pan spread a bit into this.

I did this on the cheap by buying on this site and off Ebay. Thanks to everyone who helped. This started as a plain Jane 1977 911 that I bought in Andorra and grey marketed into this country.

My question is this, for several years this car has been up on jack stands and I ran the engine and shifted the gears to keep it from degrading too much. This weekend when I finally took it down the tranny now seems to be stuck in fifth gear. Can anyone provide any insight into what has happened.
