car dead?
So i hve had some odd issues with my 79 sc and feel they are coincidental....but.
I changed the alternator which definately needed to be changed, but still have some of the same issues which i think are the starter, but today, the car didn't even try to start. I turned the ignition on and got the speedometer to jump to like 60, but thats it, no sound and no action. Its odd. I dont have a manual in front of me, but why does that happen? any experience with this? Help?

Was it cold outside? Did your car not run for a while? Most likely battery voltage too low, or bad contact at the battery posts.

It was only 1 day. I didn't really look, I had to Jet but was burning me up. I'll check tonight to see if there may be some issue with the battery and respond back. Thanks, BA
