Oil Pressure Gauge Q

Does the wire connect in the right rear fender well? I have a 1987 911 and saw a disconnected wire there and my oil pressure gauge is bouncing wacky.

The oil pressure sensor is near the fan on the engine.

Oil pressure sensor (item 46) has a wire connected to the top of the unit itself. Gently pull up on the connector, then thoroughly clean it and the mounting post on the sensor. Oil and dirt accumulate at this connection, causing the gage needle to swing up and down erratically. I had to clean mine last week.

Reconnect, and that should fix it.
