Hood shocks and Driver's Ed insurance

Thanks to whomever recommended the use of a hemostat to replace the drivers side hood shock. It only took an hour on one bloody knuckle.

Concerning DE insurance coverage for your street cars, I know most practice the policy of don't ask and don't tell but my policy specifically states "car will not be insured if driven on a race track." To get around this, I faxed the rules and regulations of Mid-Ohio's DE events found on their website. My local rep sent it to the national underwriter and all is clear! He said you are covered and "have fun."
