can a 69 oil filter bracket be repaired

I have two 69 oil filter to oil tank brackets that the outside edge is corroded away , can they be repaired/welded?

Why not? I've seen just about everything welded here.

Do you have a pic (or sample pic) of the area in question?

the outer edge on both can cast alum. be welded easily?

Is that really a sealing/mating surface? If not, I think it can be built up with aluminum two-part epoxy.

Welded easily? No. But if the part is cleaned and cleaned and then baked to get the residual oil out, it can be built up with welds then machined. There must be a used one somewhere that would be less trouble and less money.
