Fuchs part number confusion
There is a set on Fuchs for sale on E-Bay currently which the seller claims are 6x16 & 7x16. However the part 3s are 911 361 020 43
and 911 361 020 44. Although the last two digits in the part #s aren't included in the list on page 215 of Bruce Anderson's book, the first nine #s seem to indicate that the rims are 15" Fuchs, instead of 16". Am I mistaken about this, or is the seller mistaken?...Unfortunately, he doesn't include the J# in the part number. |
Lee, yes they are, as stated, 6x16" &7x16" Fuchs. For future reference the part nos are:
911 361 020 41 (7x15") 911 361 020 42 (8x15") 911 361 020 43 (6x16") 911 361 020 44 (7x16") 911 361 020 45 (8x16") These are all for versions with black centres & polished rims. Andy Boyle(UK) '69 911E [This message has been edited by andyjboy (edited 05-29-2001).] |
BTW:
Still have not got any idea about the following Fuchs Rims: 911.361.020.01 They should be 7x15. Any reference? Thanks, Jens ------------------ |
Anyone?

Jens,
Nope. I show the silver-centered (natural anodized) 7 x 15, used on the RS 2.7 as 911.361.020.11. ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |
Thanks Warren.
I know we discussed this before, but still I am searching as the Porsche dealer was not able to help. I have compared the rims side by side. I guess with the RS 2.7 you mean the original ones. They look more like early style 6", and they do not yet have a double humb. Mine look like the conventional (later style) 7x15H2 rims. The P-center does not list this number either http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/frown.gif I'll keep looking... Jens |
