Just How Expensive Will This Be?
My winter projects have begun, and first on the list is fixing my door. As you can see from the pictures, the plastic pieces are cracked/broken. As a result, my window does not seat correctly into the weatherstripping when I close the door. Before I start tearing things up, I'd like to know what to expect. Is this going to be bad enough to require a new door, or can I buy pieces to fix it? Thanks in advance.

dealer items and cheap
and not likely the cause of your door not closing properly- more like a symptom

I'm a little confused (not unusual) but the only thing you are showing that is wrong is the crack in the end cover plate. This seems to occur frequently when the attaching screw is over tightened. In black these are cheap to replace.
I had a cracked one on my '88 slant but it was mahogany in color so hard to source a replacement. In that case I removed it an super glued it very carefully from behind. The repair was perfect and you can't even see the original crack from up real close. As to your ultimate "problem" I think you need to dig a little deeper....

I wasn't so concerned about the little cover plate as the crack in the window frame. It's hard for me to tell if it's just the little rubber piece that's broken, or if it's the whole frame. What would one call these two pieces?

I think you are about to acquire a new rewarding but time consuming hobby, cabriolet window adjustment.

As they say, "well, there's yer problem!" The bracket that holds the bottom of the window frame is busted. I guess it's time to start a search for "window frame bracket thingy" Somebody has clearly already been in here.

find the other half of the bracket and weld it back on. as for the window frame crack, that's just a plastic cover piece.
