[RESOLVED] Pelican Warning: Watch out for shanghai_todd
 

Everyone be aware of Shanghi_todd... AKA - Todd Renner Operating out of Fla..

Facts:

- During the Oct/Nov timeframe shanghi_todd posted and ad with pic for "used collapsible oil return tubes with new unused seals
- On or about 5 Nov, I responded to that ad (which he has now deleted) with "PM sent" Todd and I agreed to a price of $60 shipped to DC
- On 6-Nov per Todd's instruction I sent funds via PayPal to downinit_929@yahoo.com
- Since payment, Todd has not responded to several PMs, nor multiple emails asking for a tracking #, or if item have been shipped
- Todd has not posted since the transaction, and has removed the ad with pics..
- Todd's most recent visit to the Pelican site was 12:32am so I know his punk-azz is out there!!

- As a timeline, I sent parts out to a shop for a rebuild to Tampa, Fla area on 7-Nov. They recived them, reubuilt the parts, return shipped and I received them on yesterday. Todd has yet to communicate or send his lousey parts.

And now a message to you Shanghi_todd/Todd Renner

- I've been busy, thus quiet to give you a little time to get the parts to me. It's evident by your lack of communiqué that you have no intentions on completed the the deal. Well you can send the money back. If you do not do one or the other I can pretty much guarantee that at some pint during the coming months you'll be asking yourself "who let the dogs out!" That would be me.

- As you see, I live and work in the DC area. Chances are I either work with, or for the Federal Gov't.. either way I see an interesting calling car in your near future. I hope the $60 helps with your canteen..be sure to share with Bubba!

Threats of criminal prosecution for comitting a crime is perfectly legal.

I've met Paul. Paul is good people. Paul and I engaged in a seamless $X,XXX transaction and both left 100% happy - you can't say that about every transaction.

However, I would NOT f!@# with Paul. BAD idea.

He had been tied up with the birth of his new baby girl!!.

Didn't mean to throw you under the bus, now understand that you were clearly dealing with something of more importance!

However, a quick email would have cleared things up.. again.. I fired off a couple of emails requesting status, got no reply.. yet saw that you had logged on several times. Communication is the key!
