Experiences with fitting CATs to 911
On 911s older than 1978 has anyone had success fitting a Catalytic Converter? I'm toward the end of a rebuild and am worried about all the SMOG stuff that will ensue during break-in period and afterword.
I've a 1976 911. Thanks guys. Last edited by Ricks911s; 12-01-2008 at 04:23 PM.. |

You could try getting an SC/Carrera exhaust system just for smog, but the flanges on the heat exchangers require longer studs.
Or, there you can put the cat on your ducktail to keep the smog guy out. They fit quite nicely. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Cute CATs
![]() I'm allergic though, so I'll have to make sure to handle CATs with working gloves on. |
