'71 911T Electrical problem
I have a 71 911T that does not allow the turn signals to operate once the lights are on. The emergency flashers and turn signals work great as long as the head light switch is off. I have gone through the fuse box, cleaned and replaced the fuses but still it persists. At this point I don't have a clue...anyone have a revelation to share? Thanks!

On the '71 check the bulbs themselves; if you have the wrong type installed (two contact base versus one contact base) it can cause the problem you describe.

Thanks, worked like a champ. I can't believe I did not think to look. Through experience, I always go to the most simple solution first. Unfortunately, that solution never entered my mind. Again, thanks a bunch!
