Plug wire ???

My car is a 1977 S with a 2.7.

For about a month or so the car's been running rough after cold start. After I drive 3 or 4 miles everything seems OK. I put new plugs in about 6 months ago.

I decided to start eliminating things....started with the plugs and wires.
1 - 5 wires hard to pull off, then snapped right back on....#6 however "no snap"

Owned the car 5 years and never replaced the wires.

Is it just time to replace the wires?

I think I've answered my own question, I just don't want to mess with that #6 plug again until I have to......what a PITA!

Thanks

# 6 on my car had the screw on top to the plug missing and "no snap." Getting 6 new plugs all with their caps made a huge difference. Might be worth checking. Or, take the # 5 wire off and see how it behaves on 6.

Thanks Milt..........I put the #5 wire on the #6 plug....it snapped right on.

Definitely a problem with the #6 wire, ordered some new Jacobs wires from our host.
