Seat identification

Hi,

I have these seats in my bus. I want to buy seat covers, but I'm not sure if this is a regular seat, sport seat, etc. and what year it would have come out of. Any help, much appreciated. Also any suggestions on covers too...

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

You have regular (non sport) seats. They are the seats that came with the SC version (79-83) and may also have been available in earlier models.

I'm wondering if they are from a 944. The seat release button is kinda low for a 911, at least the SC and Carrera models. They are normal seats however, not sports as already stated above.

edit: searched around some want ads and see that it probably is from the SC in the 79 to 83 year period.

Interesting. I appreciate the help.

I went looking on ebay at 911s and it looks like later one have the seat lever up top and earlier ones have the lever lower, where mine is.

I'm just buying covers and I'll tell them it's for a 1980 911 and I think I should be OK unless you see something else I missed.

Thanks again,
Mark
