door pocket update

I never quite liked the carpeted door pockets on my SC. I plan on doing RS door panels eventually, but in the mean time, I had decided I lived with the tired carpeted door pockets long enough. So I removed them and pulled of the carpet. I was originally planning on just refinishing them and painting them, but then decided to re-cover. Overall I am happy with how they look. Just thought I would share a couple of photos.

I used a marine grade vinyl, with a carbon fiber look.

In retrospect, i should have documented the process, but I failed to remember to take photos as I was recovering

Here is a close up of the vinyl I used.
1 yard was enough for 2 door pockets. Called Spradling Marine Quality Vinyl. $18.95/yd Canadian.
