Aftermarket fit and finish
I'm looking at installing a fiberglass front valance on my 85 targa. There are lots of opinions I read about different companies. I'm just trying to get a handle on how easy they install. I'm looking at installing one under my existing bumper. Will it need to go to a bodyshop or can DIY'ers install it? I don't need it 100% perfect.
Anyone with pic's and manufacturers from their front install to share? Thanks for any help you can give!

We have this one available. It is fairly aggressive (re: driveways ) but is easy to install. We recommend fitting it first, then prep/paint and final install.
It is not listed on our site, but you can e mail us for details at tremotorsports@gmail.com ![]()

Play it safe go with the TRE parts,,,
Bad F/G can cost you lots of labor to make right, I know. This (not TRE) rear RSR bumper was so warped we returned it for a second slightly less warped part. Still the left rear fender and rear bumper took 20 x $80 hour to make them correct. PM me if you are building an RSR and have a need to know who made it. All glass pie cuts on the ground represent 80% of the material that had to be removed from the warped parts. ![]() ![]() |
