I just wanted to know what it stands for. Oh another question. Did 911 Carrera start in 84? Thanks!

this is a LARGE can of worms - there were huge arguments about this - be it 'Super Carrera' (Nice idea !!) or whatever - its just the model designation - no more than that !
3.2 Carrera started in '83 for the '84 model year. ------------------ Steve '86 911 Carrera '83 944 |

Hey 88_944:
There's actually a long thread about this very subject already on the board. I'll post you the link once we get the search function back. The consensus seemed to be that SC stood for "Super Carrera", but it's hard to find any concrete documentation... ------------------ '71 911E with Webers Golden Gate Region PCA |
