Wicker Bill for 74 Iroc Tail

Hello Everyone
Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for a 1974 Iroc tail. We will be putting on a wicker bill for some added down force. Does anyone out there have some advice on fabricating a wicker bill for an Iroc tail?
Thanks again for all the responses on the Iroc Tail

Doesn't GT-Racing make one?

Wicker Bill for Iroc tail

Thanks for the reply. Yes, your right, GT-Racing does make one. I was hoping to tackle this on my own with a piece of Lexan and some aluminum struts. This would also facilitate some adjustability. I have seen it before, but not sure of the technical "ins and outs" of the project. For example, how should I fasten the supports tp the tail? Thoughts?

Search "gurney flap" on google. Most are simply a piece of angle AL. I could see some inverted uprights attached to the underside of your tail with a flush vertical surface at the trailing edge. to those, you could attach a piece of polycarbonate slotted at each upright (or downright, if you get it). The result of this design would give you a cantilevered upward edge in the air flow bearing against the mounts below the tail and straining on the attachments. I would use AL fender washers at each attachment and space them closely.
