What are they worth??

Hey guys,

Well I am getting my stock OEM fuchs refinished from my 89 carrera, and while they have been in the shop I have changed my mind that I want to get some BBS lm wheels. SOooo these are going to be up for sale.

2 x 16 by 7 inches
2 x 16 by 8 inches

Tires are Pirreli Sport (3) 225's/45/16 5-6/32's
Pirelli Pnero Zero (1) 225/45/16 like new (cannot look it up right now since that wheel is still in the shop.

I have two wheels back. The refinishing is not the best, but they look good. Refinished by Alloy Wheel Refinishers here in MD. Repainted gloss black in center and polished lips

What are these worth?

Thanks,
Paul

Ooops!

Sorry!

they are a set of 16x6 and 7 not 8

So it's a set of 2(qty) 16x6 and 2(qty) 16x7 FUCHS

Thank you!

-Paul

I don't think I'll be selling the car anytime soon at all.

So what do you guys say they are worth?

Depending on the condition, the 6's could fetch a few hundred bucks and the 7
s seem to be for sale in different classifieds for around 500.00.

IMO, I would think that a starting price for the set with tires could be $800.00.

Obviously, you should post pics once you get the set back from refinished as that would help determine what a person is willing to pay.

Shouldn't an 89 Carrera have 8" rears?

Here's a shot from the Wheels and Tires section of the 84-89 Factory Workshop Manual. 8Jx16 wasn't available until 1989 model year:
