Bursch cat bypass on 86 3.2
(I did search and didn't find anything.)
Anyone installed the Bursch cat bypass with O2 sensor? Pros / Cons? I run a stock motor with a B&B twin outlet exhaust and a chip of unknown origin. I'll run the car everyday and don't mind a little noise but not looking to draw Police attention. Want to keep my heat so this cat bypass pipe and the B&B seem like a great compromise. What kind of hp / torque add should I expect? Noticeable? I assume less weight, more power, and louder. I am also assuming an '86 with historic tags is emissions exempt?

I have a Bursch catbypass installed on my 84 3.2 along with a Monty Free Flow 100 mm. The chip installed is a SW one (the best one) I like the refined throaty sound, not too loud, just enough. IMO you'll get no HP gain by replace the cat exept if the cat is glogged.

I like mine, adds a little bit of sound, but not too loud.
