Do stock 84 Carreras have an oil cooler behind the front valance?

I bought one recently with an aftermarket front airdam and turbo-look tail (DP Motorsports) and would like to go back to stock. My question is, did 84's come with an oil cooler behind the front valance? Mine has one and I am trying to figure if it is stock or not and if it will interfere with a stock valance

No, a front cooler is not stock, nor will they typically fit behind a stock valance.

I should maybe be a little more clear - I have what appears to be an oil cooler mounted horizontally behind some sort of bar that looks like it is designed to protect it.

Stock 84 would have an oil cooler in the front of the passenger side fender. Without a fan.

That's probably an AC condenser? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong I'm sure!

Has anyone ever switched the front A/C condenser for an oil cooler? I know the airflow isn't the best, but there is that little blower, and you don't need a different front valence....

Why do you need another oil cooler on a stock 84 model? If it is running hot then you have other problems.
