Thanks again guy's, I have Marc's page bookmarked. I'm sure I'll be asking more questions along the way. I'm just trying to get as much information as I can before I start. So far I think I got a handle on where most everthing goes in the engine bay now. I'm still alittle foggy on these two things I circled though. If one is for a 02 sensor and I can either delete it or weld in a bung for it. What is the other for and do I need it?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1229434548.jpg

Both are for the O2 sensor. They changed the connector(s) type at some point so be sure to get the correct O2 sensor for the type of harness you have.

The picture of the O2 sensor previously posted is the other type.

I have a Weltmeister Performance Chip
Carb EO #D-176-7
TC6000

Anyone know if this chip needs the 02 sensor?

OK, I didn't see any 02 sensors that looked like they would plug into either of these connectors. It had me confused.

I may just go the route of a new chip if it allows me to bypass the 02 sensor. I guess I'll have to check the prices on what I need.

Your harness is 84'-85' type.

Here's what the O2 sensor looks like should you decide to go that route.

That looks more like it. A 02 sensor from our host is around $160 so I guess that is the route I will take. It would be easier to add a chip later if I wanted to. I guess I'll need to weld that bung on my heat exchanger after all.
