Max Speed Cat Bypass
Found it on EBay. Anyone know anything about the quality?
|
I was tempted to get one when I was shopping around.
|
It looks a lot nicer than the Bursch unit for not much more money and a lot cheaper than the Fabspeed unit.
Should I expect to replace the O2 Sensor, it looks a little crusty. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1229306673.jpg |
How old the O2 sensor is should be a better determination if it needs replacement, as well as the multimeter. But if you have the cash (I don't know how expensive they are in the US, I imagine half as much as I pay up here) I would just replace it.
Just try out the maxspeed one, if you don't like it there will always be someone on pelican who will buy it used. Also, they appear to have a refund policy. Check out their Ebay feed back and see who else has bought one and what their comments were about it. |
Vertex Auto has one for around $279.00.

Isn't a premuffler and catbypass the same thing? Or do we generally consider a cat-bypass a straight pipe, while a premuffler is the chambered piece.
