Ignition wire's?

Gents, completed my tune up on my 1987 Targa, 3.2 excpt wires. I plan to purchase a set from our host after the holidays. Should I get, Magnacore, Clewett or Beru. Any advise or concerns, thanks.

You could search the archives and find about 100 threads talking about this with no clear answer.

I would just go with either come the magnecors or the clewetts because they are cheaper than beru. If you go with the magnecors in the 8.5mm you may have to bore out your original holders to make them fit. They do come in smaller sizes.

All of this is hearsay from the internet, I have no personal experience with any of this.

Yup... flip a coin for the Clewetts or Magnecor 8.5s. Either should be cheaper and last longer than the OE wires. Like the Magnecor website says, between any two brands of properly functioning wires, you won't notice a difference in performance on a street motor.
(I'm running Magnecors)

Are you sure after market are longer lasting than BERU? Mine are twenty-one year old originals and still within spec. Pull them off, take them completely apart, clean and reassemble with DOW dielectric grease to waterproof. Away you go.
