It's really not very subtle or complex. Fairly common for breakers to do this, rather than listing every single part - the usual one is to list a single lug nut. He's advertising the entire car as available for parts and gives his phone number, encourages you to call him with any questions and also gives his email.

Make more sense now?

He pays no Ebay fees unless there's a sale. So he's not expecting you to buy the bolt for $80 - although he probably won't cry too much if you do.

He's pitching it as a specialized part to get it past Ebay's folks - who are probably getting wise to this after a few years.

Plus since the price for the bolt it ridiculous, it attracts folks to send it around to everyone, including posting it on forums -- clever!

However, I would demand a PPI for the bolt before purchasing
