oil prseeure sending unit question
Mine is leaking. 78Sc 3.0
Can I just remove the air box at the rubber boots or do I have to pull the intake tubes and all to gain adequate room to replace this thing? Whats the best way to do it? |

Oil pressure sender is in front on the lower right of the fan.
Oil pressure switch for the dash warning light is behind the airbox on top of the engine. Leaks in that area can also come from the thermostate O-ring, breather gasket or breather hose. Hard to reach. Do a search; lots of info on this. ![]()

My problem seems to be the switch behind the airbox. I'll do a search now and see what I find.
